Magic: The Gathering Artist Proofs are special cards given to the artists who illustrated the original artwork. The artist receives only 50 non-foil and 30 foil proofs of that printing which makes artist proofs limited and thus very collectable items. These proofs feature the printed card on the front but have blank backs, which many artists use as a canvas for drawings or paintings. They then become one-of-a-kind collectible—a miniature original artwork signed by the artist themselves.

Each painted proof comes in a clear protective magnet case.
